Webinar: Representation of Women in Sports Governance on Wednesday at 2 March 2022, 11:00am- 12:30pm


 



The Centre for India Australia Studies (CIAS) and O.P. Jindal Global are organising an exciting webinar on Representation of Women in Sports Governance' scheduled for Wednesday, 2nd March 2022 between 11:00am- 12:30pm (IST).


The webinar aims to understand reasons for witnessing fewer women in sports governance. It is the third in a series of webinars under a project on “Promoting Women in Leadership: Diversity on Boards in Australia and India” supported by the Australian Government. The project was inaugurated by Her Excellency, Hon. Margaret Beazley, Governor of New South Wales, Australia.


The webinar brings an amazing lineup of distinguished panellists including:


Margot Foster AM OLY: Director, Motorsport Australia and Former Director, Australian Sports Commission


Juanita Maiden: Director, Queensland Cricket and Director, Queensland Rugby League, Southeast Region

Dr. Johanna Adriaanse: Associate in Sport Management and Expert in Sport, Women and Gender Equality, University of Technology Sydney


Sara Pilot: Chairperson, Women’s Committee, All India Football Federation (AIFF) and Chairperson, Centre for Equity and Inclusion (CEQUIN)


Aahna Mehrotra: Partner, TMT Law Practice and Founder, AM Sports Law & Management Co.

Anjali Shah: Executive Committee Member at the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and Co-Founder, Premier India Football Academy (PIFA)
